Psychology

profile (Small).jpg

With over 25 years in the field, I have developed a personal style of psychology that is highly client centred. I do not believe in one size fits all. I believe it is important to see the individual sitting in front of me and create a space and style of working that suits the individual. The therapeutic alliance is of utmost importance to me and I take the time to develop meaningful relationships with my clients as the basis from which to explore my client’s needs.

Training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness form the basis of where my work commenced. However, I use a highly intuitive approach to form the direction of therapy. I am highly committed to my own journey of growth both personally and spiritually which adds to my depth of understanding of the processes inherent in growth and change.

I have worked within a variety of settings ranging from private practice, not for profit organizations, live in rehabilitation centres and run groups for mothers and babies.

Current registration with AHPRA as General Psychologist.
